A Great Week!

This has been a great week. God's blessings never cease. So, a few things that have made this a great week...
We've gotten a lot of homeschool done. The kids have been getting most everything done everyday without much complaining. We've been having a great time studying Jesus' life for Bible. Lots of thrilling stories. Luke is letting us know what he thinks about God. My favorite revelation of his was that God is stronger than Superman. :-) The kids have gotten along well and played Legos together quite a bit. Luke and Christian have decided that eating their veggies is a way to be strong like Superman (even JH forces down an extra bite or two). Little Luke devoured a spinach salad I gave him and wanted more. Kids eating their veggies always makes mom happy.
The house has stayed relatively clean. Friday, I got an urge to deep clean (doesn't happen often that I really WANT to clean), so after lunch the kids and I cleaned their rooms and I cleaned the bathrooms, mopped, ironed, did all the laundry. The house was spotless by evening. Won't stay that way, but...
Sat. was fun to go out and spend some family time together, then hang out with a friend, shop some sales, and get a bite to eat. Found a 90% off a broken jewelry box at Bombay and my fix-it-up project cost $2 and took about an hour. The fact that I undertook a fix-it-up project is amazing. I fully expected it to bomb because I don't do that sort of thing much, but it turned out alright.
